Greetings!

Earlier this year, Pat and I traveled via Hong Kong to Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos for 36 days. It was yet another one of our great adventures, partly because it helped me further my ambition of doing some more good with my photographs of children which I took in 1969-1970, and partly because helped us understand more clearly some of the peoples and cultures of Southeast Asia. Hats off to Indochina Travel for their professionalism and highest quality touring services.

Early next year, I will be traveling back to Vietnam with my wife, Pat. While on a tour to see the country, I have set aside three extra days around Can Tho to see if I can spend some time with those who are interested in turning over the photographs I took in 1969-70 to a local history resource. I believe that they can continue to be valuable historical materials, and should be more available to the Vietnamese people.

British Theatre Company to Use Photos

Greetings!

Singing Tooth Productions, a small theatre company in Telford, England has asked to use 13 of these phototgraphs as a backdrop for their production this summer of "Miss Saigon". I've okayed it, and am sending them digital copies of them this week. They promised to send me a DVD of the performance once it opens.

Greetings!

Recently, I've begun to post the video I made a couple of years ago, of the photographs I took in 1969, to many Facebook and MySpace groups which have a subject concerning Vietnam. I'm hoping to do two things: 1) share the photos with many who care about Vietnam; and 2) start a dialog on how I might be able to give the collection to appropriate resource libraries and information repositories in Vietnam.
